This policy explains in plain language what we hold, who sees it, and how you can have it removed.
What we collect
Personal details (name, age, city, education, profession), family information, partner requirements, photographs, and the contact numbers required to reach you or your guardian. We collect nothing beyond what a rishta proposal reasonably requires.
What is never published
Phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, CNIC numbers, workplace names and payment records are never displayed on a profile page or shared in a listing. Profiles are identified by a centre-issued profile code.
Who can see your profile
Approved profiles are visible to other approved members and to centre coordinators. A member's full file — including family notes — is read only by the coordinator handling a proposal.
How introductions happen
When interest is expressed, the centre contacts the other family privately. Nothing is passed on without explicit consent from both sides. There is no direct messaging between members on this platform.
Photographs
Photographs are stored privately and may be withheld from public listings on request, in which case they are shown only to a family that has already been introduced by the centre.
Retention and deletion
Profiles remain active while you confirm availability. Once a marriage is arranged, or on written request, a profile is deactivated and photographs are removed. Records required for our own accounting are kept in an offline archive.
Payments
The registration fee of PKR 5,000 is collected via bank transfer or mobile wallet. We do not store card details, and payment screenshots are used solely to verify a single transaction.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your file, correct any detail, restrict who sees your photographs, or ask for full deletion at any time by writing to assalam@ikhlasrishta.pk.
